Yes. Every account starts with a 14-day Pro trial, no card required. At the end, you keep your manuscripts and drop to Free unless you upgrade.
Nothing is deleted. You keep read access to everything. Editing is limited to your first story until you upgrade again.
Bring Your Own Key. You provide your own API key for AI features. Writer and Pro use individual keys. Studio uses a shared workspace key set by the team admin. No managed AI cost for Storyforge.

Always. Your work is encrypted at rest and in transit. Harper reads your manuscript in-session only. It is not used for training and is never shared. You own everything you write.
Free-tier PDF exports include a small Storyforge watermark on the title page. Paid plans remove it.
